TURNTABLES
Certain elements can be found in all Clearaudio turntables. They include the inverted bearing made of bronze, brass and hardened steel. Motors are decoupled and shielded to eliminate any negative impact of the motor on the turntable's chassis and thus the cartridge. Consequently, this guaranties that all Clearaudio turntables will run smoothly, without wow or flutter. |

The Performance is Clearaudio's most affordable turntable package featuring their new Ceramic Magnetic Bearing. The CMB magnetically levitates the 40mm acrylic platter for reduced friction, greater speed stability and additional isolation. The plinth is a composite construction of synthetic marble sandwiching an MDF core with aluminum banding. An outboard AC synchronous motor and Satisfy Carbon Fiber tonearm featuring magnetic anti-skating and 3 point ruby jewel bearings complete the package. Made in Germany and available in black or white finish. The CMB is now available in a Magnum version with 70mm platter.

The Avantgarde follows the implementation of the highest technical intelligence and creativity. The resulting combination of an 8 kg chassis and a 40mm high platter, the two 20mm acrylic chassis plates sandwiching an aluminium plate, all adds up to a 17 kg turntable, a very physical phenomenon: of noise-free stability and precise musical expression.

PHONO CARTRIDGES
Clearaudio moving magnet phono cartridges are precision products that are held to the most stringent quality control standards. The patented assembly process is based on the newest technical advances. Through this process, Clearaudio hand selects materials that are held to the tightest tolerances. The mounting plate of the Alpha, Beta and Beta S cartridges are made of a special resonance-free lead alloy material.
The Virtuoso Wood uses a special Fernambuk wood mounting plate that is only available in the Bavarian Black Forest. Clearaudio moving magnet phono cartridges distinguish themselves with their long lifespan and a replaceable cantilever. With an extremely linear frequency response and an exceptional dynamic response insure a very uniform soundstage, Clearaudio moving magnet cartridges are compatible with virtually all tonearms.

Entry-level moving coil cartridges have a new champion, the Clearaudio TALISMANN. With this completely new cartridge design, Clearaudio have established another benchmark which offers the enthusiast unbeatable performance for the price.
The Talismann's resolution and dynamic range, full-bodied weight and warmth, and shimmering brilliance sets standards that even higher priced cartridges from other manufacturers cannot reach.
The Talismann is designed using Clearaudio's "ultimate refinement" philosophy. Painstaking care is given to manufacturing with remarkable consistency, which explains the attractive retail price.
The innovative ideas gained from many years of designing and manufacturing cartridges are combined with specialist techniques used in musical instrument manufacturing and are applied with German precision engineering and craftsmanship. The hand polished ebony tone-wood body is slightly rounded, which leads to a resonance-free construction. High impedance together with high output voltage ensures noise free musical reproduction. The ruler-flat frequency response from 20Hz to 20kHz provides solid realistic bass, uncolored midrange and natural high frequencies.

The new Clearaudio Moving Coil Generation cartridges have up to 100dB dynamic range.
Clearaudio significantly improved its fully symmetrical moving coil design, first patented by Clearaudio in 1980 by repositioning and doubling the magnets to 8 pieces, so the coils are operating in a much stronger magnetic field. Using the strongest magnetic material available at this moment,Super Neodymium, efficiency has been raised by 30%, which results in an output of up to 0.9 mV at 5cm/sec.
A new Micro-HD-Diamond tip, providing a hybrid parabolic geometry with the following stylus radii (0.008mm x 0.040mm) is now used. The total mass (0.00016g) is a fifth of the previous diamond stylus.
Cartridge body resonances, while tracking in the groove, are minimized through a twelve-finger design of the mounting plate, with different radii on the cartridge body, which is a result of our constant research and sophisticated development.
The cartridge bodies of our Clear audio’s new models: Goldfinger, Titanium, Stradivari and Concerto are made out of the following: Gold, Titanium, Ebony and Satinee-Wood. The generator construction of the new Moving Coil Cartridge generation is mechanically, magnetically and electrically absolutely symmetrical, our unique design, like no other. All clearaudio moving coils use our proven 24 ct. pure gold coils.
A clear breakthrough in analog music reproduction has been achieved with this new MC-Cartridge generation. The new generation is able to read a dynamic range of 100 dB with a frequency response of 10 Hz up to 100KHz.
